As an IBM Distinguished Designer and a Director of Design for AI Transformation, Jennifer leads teams across the Cloud and Data Platform in identifying new opportunities for AI and machine learning to add value to user experiences. Her ongoing efforts in demystifying the technology and design of AI for her teams and students has led to new patents, curriculum, and design practices that are helping to define and expand IBM’s AI perspectives and offerings. Jennifer's career has spanned more than two decades and several revolutions in technology. Her journey has taken her from rubylith and letterpress, to action scripting and software, to data science and artificial intelligence. Regardless of the medium, her passion for telling a story around humanity's opportunity to apply technology in furthering our own evolution has been the thread that ties her work together. She is a frequent speaker on humanity's evolution with technology and teaches Advanced Design for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Texas in Austin.
